We have had a very positive experience and my daughter is very happy at Windermere 6th form Great supportive staff and communication is excellent from staff. Education online during lockdown has been very impressive, but at 17 our child is independent but she is feeling well supported and challenged. Just hope she gets to go back as she loves school life and boarding .

3 of my kids have had fab experiences at Windermere School, 2 still attend the school. Apart from the fab teachers who encourage our kids through ups and downs, laughter and sadness, the kids who attend the school have such wonderful experiences on the Lake (sailing, kayaking, swimming), in the Lake District Mountains & in this magical place surrounding the school - The English Lake District. There are endless opportunities for cultural experiences, outdoor experiences and plenty of time for fun... which in my book inspires young minds to want to know more... if you want to learn, then the inspiration to do so is there. I, myself, am an old girl (from when it was an all girls school... many moons ago!) and have fond memories too... Its the school \With a View... to life and mountains... literally\!

Terrible school. Cannot discipline bullies and very bad pastoral care. PLEASE do not send your children here if you really care about them and their welfare.
