Karen knew her onions about every item I enquired about. Honestly one of the most knowledgeable people I've met regarding wine, but also very savvy on other local businesses and traders. Once I'd been paired with a couple of bottles, Karen let me know where the best cheese retailer was and sent me on my way. Honest and forthcoming service in a lovely and light store, cannot fault this store at all.
Really good selection of wines and great service if, like me, you don’t know anything about wine and need some guidance. I just let them know my budget and they were able to find me a great bottle to gift someone. It’s just off the high street too, so really easy to get to. You can also park close by on the street if you’re only popping into town for wine.
Fabulous selection of wines and great service. Full of interesting wines for a special occasion (or even just a Wednesday night in!). Thank you.
The member of staff was extremely helpful and friendly, being wine novices she helped us pick 2 bottles of wine according to our tastes, asking us what sort of flavours we like, as well as asking price point instead of just encouraging us towards the very expensive bottles, very happy with our visit!
