I wanted a trip back down memory lane and found a clean, modern restaurant, which sadly didn't do the egg burger that I used to love. Having mentioned it to the guy who served me, he said they don't do it anymore, but would be happy to add an egg for me! Really tasty burger and crispy chips and a well made coffee. Really good value for 12. Friendly, but non - obtrusive. I've rediscovered the joy of wimpy!

Well overcooked fish on both meals, all milkshakes awful as not mixed sauce just poured down a hole in the middle overall appalling dinner experience all round very disappointing especially as amount spent. Meal was recommended as last time it was lovely
I now know why there are so few wimpy's! The food! Pork bender wrong! Eggs tasted off!

The service was lovely, with a never ending smile, the manager behind the counter could have learnt something about customer service from his staff in fact, but nothing was going to ruin this first visit to a Wimpy in 25 years, loved it, lots of booths to sit in which:is good, but the food! So much better than it was back in the day, I honestly think it was the best fast food chain burger I've ever had, very tasty and fresh, lots of salad in it and looked even better than the photo. The fries are amazing and the chilli sauce is actually spicy. About the sauces, they are served in bottles and little sauce bowls and not in those awful nasty little plastic sachets, that are so wasteful and ecologically unsound, nice one Wimpy. I will be coming here to the Portslade one again for sure but will be trying others too when the mood for a burger takes me. Next thing I wanna try is the spicy chicken wings. ️
