A great corner shop! So handy and some of their prices are better than the supermarkets, friendly staff and well stocked.

Seeing that it was a dog friendly shop as I had seen other dogs in the shop. However one morning I decided to take my dog into the shop for one of the part owners (the bold one) to tell me to get my dog out of the shop, when I asked why ?? And pointed out I’ve seen other dogs in here ?! After a short delay he responded with “well he’s a bit Boisterous isn’t he” I then pointed out that he was only on a 2 ft long lead and he has hardly moved then said “it’s just because he’s a staffie isn’t it ?” To which he became very defensive and rude saying “ it’s my shop so it’s up to me if a dog comes into here or not !” Etc I found this very discriminating towards both me and my dog I mean if he’s discriminating against dogs just for their breed then is he the same with people for their race and class! I haven’t been in there since & the only reason I gave to stars was because some of the staff were lovely in there but I will not put money in that disgusting mans pocket

Dean Read are you sure? I take my dog in this shop all the time and both me and my dog \Bullseye\ are made to feel very welcome. The owner (bald one) is particularly fond of Bullseye and always makes a fuss of him
