Just visited local hillier garden centre ( three legged cross). I turned up just minutes before they were due to close . I was the only customer and went looking to see their Xmas trees . They were so friendly , helpful and weren’t at all bothered they were due to close and ready for home. They didn’t rush me and spent time helping me decide which tree to buy . The man even carried it to my car and loaded it for me. And to top it all the trees were all amazing , healthy and HALF PRICE . I’ll be going back next year . Their customer service was A1.

I have been to Hillers many times at Three Legged Cross but I felt the need to write a review after my visit on Wednesday. Brian was so helpful (and patient) while I picked out the perfect Christmas tree. He was so lovely and even helped me to the car. What a gent!

A lovely garden centre, although somewhat pricey. DON'T bother with the restaurant ! Coffee was best part cold, in fact the glass of water asked for was warmer then the coffee. Had a jacket potatoes filled with tuna with lemon. Don't know how much lemon they used but it was totally over powering and you couldn't take the tuna - instead I've spent all afternoon tasting lemon ! The jacket was small, not cooked very well with a totally soft skin - think it had been done in a microwave and hadn't seen an oven. Left a lot to be desired and I certainly wouldn't go back for food or coffee. You really need to up your game with so much choice locally - not surprised it was almost empty.

Since take over site is much tidier and staff seem happier. Always very polite.

Easy to order, hot lunch served quickly. Had time to look round the shop for Xmas gift ideas
