After 3 days of sitting in trees I finally got a bear! All my friends are super jealous. Willow Air was really professional and made every effort to make my trip a good one, with or without a bear. I really had a great time and it's incredibly beautiful up there. Would love to go again and take some friends next time.
I have hunted with willow air three times and they have all been great experiences. On my moose hunt I took a 64 inch bull on the third day and steve came in and flew it out the next day. I think they have the best moose area in Alaska and everyone there has always been very helpful and courteous.
Had a great moose hunting trip with Willow Air in 2019. Everything was as planned and my son was successful in getting a good bull. We could have taken a second bull but was satisfied with one. Willow Air has access to a great moose area and if I was going to do another DIY hunt for moose it would be with them. Look forward to going out after Caribou with them in 2020.
Although my stop was casual and just spoke to the owner about general topics, I would definitely use this service if needed based on his honesty and knowledge. We spoke for a good hour and was really amazed with the local activity just within the area of this place of business. The two photos I'm posting were just of the building and from a couple of angles. It's easy to see from the road but this may help if the snow is a little heavy. :)
