I don't know how this place has so many positive reviews. The smoked turkey has the consistency of rubber and the flavor to go with it. The ribs are more greasy fat than meat, and I didn't even bother trying the mac and cheese. There's no sense in complaining about the portion size because more of a bad thing would not have made it better. For the first time in my life, I attempted to get a refund for a meal. The lady on the phone was professional and courteous but refused to issue a refund unless the uneaten food was returned to the location. Her response sounded so rehearsed that I believe this must be a common occurrence. I actually considered driving there, but the trash can was a lot closer. I took a picture before trying the food to demonstrate the lack of value for the price they're charging. You be the judge.

I have ate at Willie Jewell's Old School Bar B Q for years. I love their food and their bread pudding. I am going to miss their delicious food. Tonight I called down there and the phones were not working. The automated operator said the phone number was disconnected. I drove down there anyways. When I messaged them I noticed someone was reading my message but not responding. I called them out for reading and not responding. A simple apology and a follow up about the phone not working would have been a perfectly acceptable response. Instead I had someone claiming to be the owner. He was defensive saying he just saw the message. However on Facebook messenger you know when they view the message. The owner never once offered an apology. Until the end after threatening to post a bad review. I would love to add screen shots
Great food, The staff are great and the owners are amazing They are so grateful and considerate of there workers. Not had a bad experience here. LOVE THE SLOPPY PIG, WINGS, AND STRAWBERRY COBBLER.
I was not a fan. The pulled pork was flavorless without sauce and the hash was over sauced. The Green beans and garlic toast we're delicious though. Some may love it, just not my kind of BBQ.
The food at Willie Jewells is great. You get your order really fast and it's all fresh and hot. The only reason not giving 5 stars is the people working there. They just don't go out of their way to be very friendly. A smile or two goes a long way.
