Flying Needles is an amazing local yarn shop, with a large selection of yarn and accessories. The unique selection of indie dyers is vast and colorful. The classes and knit-a-longs are fun and helpful. Susan , the owner, from the first day I walked in with questions, has been helpful, friendly, and remembers me and my projects. Flying Needles is my happy place!

Just moved to the area and needed to find a LYS. What a gem The Flying Needles is! The staff is so friendly and helpful. They helped my son pick out the perfect yarn and pompom for a hat. They also helped my husband make his own yarn advent calendar for me. This shop is what yarn lovers look for when looking for local shops. So happy to have found this treasure!

Very nice shop with great choice of yarns. Lots of hand dyed for socks. Karen was a sweetheart and helped me with matching yarns for projects. I hope to return when I’m in Williamsburg area. Looking forward to Zoom knit night!
