Amazing place for Food & Drinks, and by far the nicest pub in Truro! The Sunday Carvery is Beautiful!!! Staff are very welcoming and friendly and always smiling, very well presented and clean with a lovely beer garden, (also, one of the only places in the city to provide this Along with being dog friendly ) and toilets are kept to a very high standard too! I'd recommend to anyone wanting to have a relaxed Lunch/Dinner, or even a cheeky pint or G&T in the evening after work!!!

Popped in for a bite to eat (and a rest from Christmas shopping) on a Sunday afternoon. Having visited here before, I was expecting great things ... especially as the place was packed, with the pleasant young lady who welcomed me at the door apologising that there was only 1 table left in the conservatory. Unfortunately I was disappointed, whereas the food quality was ok, their prices weren't :( A small bowl of Cheesy Chips, with no side salad or Garnish 4.95 A very small bowl of Homemade Coleslaw 3.95 Brie Wedges, with very small side salad/garnish 6.50 Soft drinks weren't the cheapest either .. paying close to 4 for a pint of Coke. Service was excellent, and the expensive food arrived promptly, and was piping hot.
If you're looking for good pub grub then this place is worth while. We had the Bangkok and the William Special Burgers and they were good. They had a cool non-contactless pay system that was all done online so the only contact you had (sadly) was when they greeted you, and served the food. Keep up the good work folks!
Great pub. Visited recently with a young baby and dog for food. Staff were welcoming and helpful, they seem to have a good system in place to help with social distancing for the Covid situation too. Food was standard pub fare, but was good quality and well presented.
What a lovely place to go for food and drink, staff were really friendly and pleasant, lovely atmosphere, really enjoyed our little stay in Truro
