My God! If you served this up in Durham Jail thered be a riot! No ambience at all, looks like a local meeting spot for carers with their charges in and out of wheelchairs. 4.90 for that! Mince and dumplings? With white cabbage, \chunky\ sliced carrotts...sliced with an axe by the looks of it and chips. Place is freezing, like eating in a school gym its that noisy and bare. I love coming here. They have the best prices for everything. Service was amazing and up to a high standard. However it wasn't very clean on the 2nd floor but its quality of service was through the roof
4 tills only 1 working. Could have 2 even with covid spacing. Stood ages to pay for items. No real interest in putting on another till even tho there was plenty room. Great shop but I will give it a miss till we are back to normal and you dont have to wait ages at checkout
