I had my reservations about Wildwood as it is a chain but the food was actually of a good standard for the price. The service was efficient but attentive, very proactive when it came to allergies. The covid precautions seemed adequate and didn't detract from the overall experience. The kids meal for my daughter was amazing (pizza with chocolate brownie), she ate it all and it seemed like the same amount of care was taken preparing her pizza as mine. Overall, that was the most relaxed I've been in a restaurant for ages.

Really enjoyed our meal here tonight. The calamari starter was great and cooked perfectly. Had the steak sandwich for main course which was really nice, I'll definitely have it again, and the Avalanche sweet was superb. Our Grand daughters main course was only 1 which is fantastic value. Great service too, will definitely go back.
We received very professional service from EVERY member of staff. It was like a breath of fresh air after a whole weekend of visiting pubs where customer service and basically working seems to have gone out of fashion due to the Covid palaver. I liked the exterior and interior design. Also, the fact it was less crowded that the waterside places was appreciated. All the food ordered was good, as were the drinks. Thank you very much. You helped us out.
Wildwood's menu is pizza, pasta and grill. Being vegetarian, I can't comment on the grill, but our pasta dishes were good, as was the bread and butter pudding. Atmosphere and service were friendly. Food arrived surprisingly quickly but we weren't made to feel rushed. An enjoyable evening.
Had a really fantastic steak meal and because it was Tuesday and they had 50% off AND they had two for one cocktails I managed to get cocktails for two people (4x long Island iced tea) and an Eton mess dessert after my main meal of sirloin steak which was done really nicely, the total was about 35.00 What a bargain for such good food! the sirloin steak was excellent and the sweet potato fries were really nicely done. Got totally drunk on the long Island iced teas too! Adding to my review after I got the baked sea bass and that was fantastic too I'm very pleased with the service here, it's very good and everyone smiles and engages in really nice conversation. What a great place to take someone to eat posh nosh for really good value Edit: they now do the Beyond vegan burger and it's prepared and presented so nicely, very impressed with the food and service here
