LOVED every meal we had here. The staff were very polite, great conversationalist and paid great attention to our allergies and dietary restrictions. And yes they are halal!!

This place is absolutely phenomenal. Between 3 courses, myself and my dad and stepmum had 8 different dishes and every single one was outstanding. It isn't cheap, but it is definitely worth what you pay.

The new restaurant is well worth a visit. Beautiful setting and great location for views of the grounds. New interior design is modern with a Gatsby feel to it. Food is pretty special and the tables facing the open restaurant make for a different dining experience. Will be again for sure!

Great food, friendly and attentive staff, lacking ambience unfortunately but we could blame COVID. Partially compensated by views of Dogmersfield Park if you can get a table by the window.

Lovely surroundings, attentive staff, sadly my food disappointing given the premium prices, but other's dinners somewhat more successful. Party of five, steaks tasty, venison good but pastry in Wellington not well cooked, I somehow managed to get 3 things which had pine nuts in. I love a pine nut, but they were rather ubiquitous. Burrata to start with flavour overwhelmed by pine nuts and additional 7 for optional two strips of anchovy bewildering and maybe predictably unnecessary. There's a good reason we routinely pair mozzarella with sweet juicy tomatoes and basil. Jus with pork belly over reduced, with raisins and more pine nuts and mustard seeds adding slightly odd flavours. There were so many mustard seeds and sauce so reduced it looked like brown tapioca. Pistachio and lemon ganache dessert very pretty but overly sweet and textures too similar...and more pine nuts in middle. I was hoping for a nice zingy tart lemon layer to counteract the pistachio ganache but it was sadly lacking. I understand there is a new executive chef and the menu is under development, it was our first visit and we probably wouldn't rush back, at almost 100 a head it just wasn't quite good enough.
