Had an impromptu night out with the missus. We fancied some food and rang them on the off chance if we could get a table. They were great and even though they were fully booked they managed to squeeze us in. The food and drinks were really good and the staff were excellent. Highly recommended.

We have been here before, but not since they owners have completely done a revamp on the interior, design everything. You will not disappointment one bit. We again visited La Mama for breakfast but this time with some of our family from Liverpool, and lets just say they wished they had same La Mama in Liverpool as well. The new decor looks very bright and tasteful, the staff as always are incredibly polite. The meal was fantastic, not only cater for adults breakfast but also offer a children's breakfast.. Very good choice and very accommodating if you wish change things around which one of our party did. Overall A1. Not been as yet for a evening meal, but its right at the top of our to do list.
I enjoyed everything about la mama, the food was lovely, great drinks selection of drinks and a relaxed atmosphere even though the restaurant was fully booked. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Food and drinks are priced as you would expect. I will definitely be returning in the near future.
Food amazing! Service great, friendly staff but.... unfortunately, the whole experience was so rushed! We had a table booked for a 90 min slot (we visited during the 'Eat out to help out' scheme) however we were seated and finished in less than an hour! It was uncomfortable, so rushed, staff racing about. As we stood up to leave and were putting our coats on, another family were shown to the table whilst a member of staff cleaned the table with us stood there. They were seated and ordering before we even left! We were celebrating our daughters birthday but just couldn't relax. Felt more like being in a fast food restaurant! There was absolutely no social distancing either or any other covid-19 risk reducing measures in place. Left feeling very disappointed and wish we had gone elsewhere for our celebrations.
Just popped in for coffee this morning the two waiters that were on were very attentive and very cheerful. Will be going again and will be recommending to family and friends. Lovely place
