You need luck or a reservation to dine here. Wait staff may seem cold and slow. (They do turn people away...) but it's a cultural thing. They concentrate on what is at hand and are unfailingly polite, professional. Their reasonable prices and generous portions is probably why it is popular with the locals. Their veal schnitzel is better than most other places.

We came for a great schnitzel and we definitely got what we wanted. Great taste, good location. Needs a little more light. And it would be much better if they get rid of those small flies. Loved the place, and as last minute comers without a reservation, we appreciate their kindness to squeeze us in.

Lovely place to stop, rest, enjoy and take in the sights you've seen and order some of the best slow cooked food I've ever had. The food here is really amazing and tasty, the staff is nice and polite and the atmosphere is quite something. I had a lentil dish which was really tasty (really nicely spiced and balanced) and a cream soup that was amazing. My wife had some breaded meat with potatoes and she liked the food as well. The place gets really crowded so it's better to make a reservation (and be sure they write your name down). They also have a nice selection of drinks (beers, wines and tea) and great deserts.

We came here because we wanted to eat the typical Austrian schnitzel. The food itself was good (not great, just good). The waiters were not very friendly, I can't even say they were nice. They insisted on sending us to a corner because they had some reservations but we were the only ones in the restaurant for most of the time and there was only one other group by the time we finished. This would all be ok, except that the prices were outrageous, especially for what we got, since there's nothing too complicated about schnitzel and we later learned it's easy to find it at most fast food places. Careful!

Here you can find the most traditional dishes of Vienna in an authentic environment. It's a small and cozy joint, for this reason you should try to make a reservation beforehand if you go at busy hours.

A cozy restaurant for simple dinner. Food is good and portion is big. Come early before it gets full house. Service wise it was ok.

The staff was super friendly and did their best to fit everybody in even though the restaurant was packed. Food was delicious! Highly recommended.
