The place doesn't look fancy, but don't judge a book by its cover. The food is delicious, fresh, even late in the evening and you get the taste of homemade austrian food. I'd post photos but we ate so quickly we didn't have the time. I recommend the cabbage soup, goulash with spicy sausages and gordon bleu woth salad.

If you like to feel like local resident you cannot miss this place! The food is amazing, portions are massive, beer cold and delicious and everything for very reasonable price. The staff very friendly and responsive. I loved every second there

Super meal! A huge portion of wienerschnitzel, the kind you only find in a neighborhood Gasthaus. Nice outdoor eating area too.

This was the best part of my trip to Vienna. Our taxi driver recommended to us. We obviously looked it up online first and it had great reviews and the reviews didn't disappoint. There is a smoking and non smoking section. The tables are in booths, we were sat at a table for 4, just after we had ordered our food another couple were sat across from us in the same booth. We were a bit concerned about this at first, but it was really nice and we chatted with the other couple, which in turn made the experience even more Austrian. My partner had a schnitzel and I had a beef and cabbage stew with a dumpling, this was amazing. My partner also had a strudel which was lovely too. The staff were friendly and could speak English. I would definitely recommend and would go back again if I ever go back to Vienna.
