I have visited the place after 7 months again because the last time the food was amazing although the staff on that time were a bit rude. Before I start I should mention this time the staff were very nice. Obviously different people were serving us the food. We asked for Goulash with rice on the side, but they didn't have any rice which was unacceptable from such a fancy restaurant. We decided to go with Austrian pasta but the food they served us was not Austrian pasta, the dish was totally different from the last time. It was pasta but definitely not Austrian pasta. It was a plate mainly with cooked and uncooked spinach with 6-7 small pieces of pasta. The portion was that small that we went to another restaurant to have a proper dinner. To be fair the dish was tasty but definitely wouldn't worth 20 euro. In summary cafe Imperial is Over priced! Over rated! Wouldn't recommend it and will never visit this place again. Ps. This restaurant was a dead place, except us no guest were there on Thursday night. Very weird!

We love the place. Food was very delicious and service was good. We went there 3 days in a row! We had fish, beef, schnitzel, chicken fingers, coffee and dessert there. All are savory!!

Breakfast at reasonable price in a luxury hotel. The service was so professional, the waiter remembered what I ordered yesterday. French toast and omelette were my recommendations. Coffee was great too!

This cafe in our hotel seems just as much as a great find as convenient. The pastry shop is impressive, have had 2 meals to date which were both great. The Viennese potato soup was great, the Wiener schnitzel was excellent with a wildly delicious lightly picked cucumber and potato salad and the Kaiserschmarren with the sour cherry compote was amazing!

Very kind staffs, warm welcoming, great atmosphere. If you sick of unkindness from several cafes around city centre, then go to the cafe imperial. This is the best place to enjoy a torte, and the taste is even better than the Sachertorte. Rich taste with silky chocolate. Wonderful. I also recommend the imperial tea.

A nice place for meal in this classical cafe. We went there for a light meal before attending concert in Musikverein Wien. Both foods and services are good.

Beautiful restaurant with delicious well priced food - all round stunning dining experience. The staff here are very friendly and accomodated us even though we didn't make a booking. We had dinner here before catching a concert nearby. The Wiener Schnitzel was very delicious here, and the Goulash was outstanding! The pianist played some beautiful jazz music to accompany dinner. Perfect place for a classy night out in Vienna. It is a very formal place but there is no dress code and there will likely be tourists in casual clothing.
