We got married at Wickham Park at the Hilltop Garden at the beginning of September. Everything was so amazing. They put signs around the area stating that there's a private event, and no one bothered us. The view was absolutely gorgeous, and the ceremony could not have gone smoother! Above all, they weren't that expensive to have the ceremony there, either, which was nice. They write you down for a eserved\ spot without having to pay it until the day of which was also nice given the pandemic, and things always changing regarding that. Either way, the place was beautiful! I highly recommend if you're looking for a place to have your wedding ceremony.

Wickham park is a fantastic park. Offering a variety of activities including hiking, disc golf and even an aviary. Attending Wickham Park was one of the best experiences my friends and I have participated in together. Not only is it a wonderful summer day trip but the various hills are wonderful for sledding, snowboarding and skiing with a beautiful view of Hartford.
Loved this place and we went for a meet and greet with a popular tik tok star and afterwards walked around and to our surprise theirs a bird sanctuary for injured birds. The birds their were amazing and very bright and full of various colors that ignite your senses. Its free to walk through and have fun! You do however have to pay for parking which is usually 5 bucks. There's many different sights to see and visit. The place has Chinese statues that are over a hundred years old and the park has been there since the early 1900's. At the top of the park there's an overlook that allows you to see for miles and the sunset was simply beautiful. I definitely recommend taking your family or special someone for a day here at Wickham Park.
What a great afternoon spent at Wickham Park. A very modest 5 fee and then the park is yours for however long you want to stay. Various themed gardens, rolling hills, benches to take a breather, trails, picnic tables, and of course a bird sanctuary with some fascinating habitants. Bring a lunch, snacks and drinks, a couple blankets, a good book and relax in a beautiful setting.
One of the most beautiful parks in the Greater Hartford area located on the border of Hartford and Manchester. Great place for weddings, lots of picnic areas, trails, japanese garden, rose garden, sledding during winter, and spectacular views of the Hartford skyline.
