Good hardware store. Focuses more on material stock (timber, masonry, plumbing etc). They do have tools, albeit seems to be short on stock right now (Brexit/pandemic logistical issues). Social distancing measure are in place within he store.

I absolutely LOVE the smell when you walk into this shop! The only way I can describe it is the smell of pure, untreated newly cut wood - it's awesome! Huge shop with handy signs above each aisle so you can find what you're looking for more easily (in theory..) but whether you can or not it's really pleasant just to wander around looking just because of the lovely woody smell! Lost a star because there was no staff anywhere to be seen for assistance (the only staff member I encountered was at the checkout when I paid - she was very pleasant though) and it's also pretty pricey in my opinion. The roomy and spacious layout of the place is ideal for wheelchair users (I'm not one but it's ideal for people who are) and people with prams or pushchairs too There's not as much choice for paint brands/colours as I would have liked, so that's a shame (especially as they've got plenty of room for more to be stocked in my opinion) so I didn't find what I wanted by means of paint, which means unfortunately, now that B&Q in my home town has closed, I'm going to have to go furthur afield for that, but all-in-all a great shop if they have what you're after (That made better sense in my head to what it looks like in words...)

Click & collect very handy. Pity that there was a builder's van parked in the nearest disabled bay to the store (without a blue badge displayed) Obviously not traffic managed!

Great, friendly and helpful staff. First time I had shopped here, not knowing there's a maximum Car Park time limit of 90 minutes. I received a 95 ticket but the Duty Manager cancelled it for me. Maybe helped by the fact that I had spent over 200 in the store!

Decent range of stock. Definitely not always the cheapest, but knowing they're open late and at weekends has came to my rescue several times when other wholesalers would be closed.
