You get what you pay for and you ain’t paying much here. The price was where the good news stopped. To be fair, if a burger is listed as 3.50 (or close to that) it’s best avoided and I’m glad I did. My greatest disappointment was the kids food and my son - who eats absolutely anything you put in front of him - would not touch the potato waffles they gave him. I tried it and I don’t blame him. They were deep fried, oily, disgusting. The coffee was also fairly grim. You just can’t make good food for the prices they charge so I opted for safe options of sausage roll which was fine. I suspect if you stick close to anything from a traditional Scottish breakfast you will do ok. Venture off that and you do so at your own risk. Ask yourself if you could make a living from selling burgers and chips for less than 4 and you will see the problem. 2 stars because for that price you can’t expect much but really the food is bad and I wouldn’t go back.

Got a baked potato with some tuna and also the homemade chili. It was very tasty and wholesome. Was a good breakfast to start the day.
Great food, large portions and a huge range of choices. All good value too. Only let down was some of the cakes were on the dry side.
Helpful lovely staff. Good choice of food. Great home baking and tablet. Would recommend.
Super food and service. Well organised for Covid. Reasonable prices Enjoyed haggis neeps and tatties and Scottish breakfast
