The Whittier Greenway Trail

Fun trail! Easy parking and family friendly. Went with my 10 year old who is on the autism spectrum and felt comfortable giving him space since the trail was so wide and not crowded at all (even on a Sunday morning)

The trail is clean and smooth but for me there is to many Street crossings. There is a nice parking lot on Mills and I believe it's about ten miles to the 605 and back so this makes a nice ride if I don't have time to go to another bike path.
It's a beautiful trail! Lots of trees! On occasion you will see homeless people so it's better not to go alone, especially after dark.. although they still roam during the day. There is trash in certain areas as well cause of the homeless people. Sometimes a group of sketchy guys will gather with their bikes so that's also annoying. Other than that, it's a wonderful place to walk.
Nice long, flat bike path. But homeless people in the bushes & some drug activitie going on. Won't go back & won't recommend...Peggee & Joe Marcano
this is an awesome semi urban trail. it winds and takes you through some busy streets and also some real quiet points where you're unbothered by those outside the trail. i suggest coming when the sun is coming down for the slowest people traffic and for a combo experience with catching a sun set while you're on your afternoon jog from one side of the trail and make your way back to the other
