An incredible day of baking sourdough, brioche and other breads. The facilities are excellent and the staff are incredible. Such a great atmosphere with the other visitors too. I will certainly be back for more courses.

I took the 3 week Culinary Arts Bronze Award (CTH level 2) at WhitePepper last month and could not have been happier with the teaching environment, the growth in skill and knowledge I gained, and of course, all the yummy food! The students included almost-novices, passionate-amateurs and also a few new professionals working their way up the certification ladder, but it worked for every level. I am definitely considering returning for my Silver level here and happily recommend it.
Attended White Pepper for the one day Indian Cookery on 12/9. Been wanting to go to White Pepper for far too long. Didn’t disappoint. Amazing day, just amazing. If you are a foodie or cooking fanatic and want to have a day immersing in your passion or hobby this is the place. Beautiful surroundings, fantastic facility, friendly, engaging, organised, expert tuition and support. Perfect day even now amidst the need to be COVID safe too. They have many day courses, all I know will be as good. A quality set up. Booked again already.
I have recently attended here for the one day feathered and furred course, looking at game from the field to the table. I have been meaning to attend for the last two years but I did not have many weekends off. So I booked days off for this course and I have to say it was one of the most informative days out I have been on. To start they had a local gamekeeper examining about countryside management. I cannot really give his talk credit here, but I will say it was obvious he had a passion for the countryside and everything living on it. He then came in to demonstrate how to skin and joint a deer. Again another informative talk and demo. Then we went on to breasting and cooking a pheasant. So we cooked our own lunch with a recipe provided. I was also with a nice group of people as well. All in all a great day and I am looking to attend more course in the future. If you live in Dorset and love to cook, this would interest you. The team were so welcoming and friendly as well. Fantastic day out.
I have been to WhitePepper a couple of times for recreational cooking courses in Italian and Indian cuisine. I enjoyed every moment of these classes, so much so in fact that it inspired me to pursue cooking professionally rather than just as a “hobby”. In September I am partaking in WhitePepper’s 16 week course in Culinary arts, that’s Bronze, Silver and Gold back to back. I can wait and I am sure that this will change my life forever, so all I can say for now is thank you to WhitePepper for inspiring me to do what I love and finally show me a path to what I aspire to!
