After deciding to take advantage of the stamp duty reduction, we contacted four estate agents for valuations. All were very similar in price estimates but we got on well with Whites, who were very confident of selling within the timescale. We started marketing the property in August/September 2019 and we were lucky enough to have Grace Jackson assigned to look after us. We were kept informed at every stage of the process and were soon inundated with viewings. These were all handled by Grace and the team (Maddie and Bailey) and every time they turned up they were friendly, responsive and followed the Covid guidelines. It was not long before we got an offer on the property ( first week of October). As we were moving out of the area, we spent the next three weeks searching for a property to move into. This was found by the end of October. We got a solicitor (recommended by Grace) and we moved forward. This is where Grace and the team really came into their own, they were brilliant chasing all parties involved to make sure we hit our deadline of moving before Christmas. Grace worked all hours to ensure that everything worked. I am pleased to say that we achieved our goal of being in by Christmas and this was mainly down to Grace, with fantastic support from Maddie, Bailey and the rest of the team at White's. We've been renting a flat from White and Sons lettings since 2017. I am very pleased with the service provided by their team- professional and friendly staff.They always respond quickly to all our requests for help or when issues arose in our property that needed settling.Moreover,they always informed us ahead of time when they wanted to enter the property to do an inspection or arrange for a workman to visit.
