Very nice pub and the best steak and ale pie I have had in a very long time. Friendly staff too. Why anyone would eat or drink in a Wetherspoon when there are great pubs like this one is a mystery. Nice beer garden also.

Quiet friendly place for a lunchtime drink... nice landlady, decent food. Good! For Unpretentious types like me. Lol
Great food and excellent service. A friendly pub in a neighborhood.
The day we visited was very busy .. also they were short staffed but you would not have known this. The staff did their absolute best, giving 100 % of their time to the customers. A good atmosphere and friendly welcome makes it an enjoyable place to be. Excellent food, great value, fresh ingredients and the portions are generous.
Very friendly with good value food.
