Great place recently transformed by the family behind the Burnaby. Atmosphere is great, wonderful staff (great to see the bar maid from the Burnaby migrate) and even better - really tasty food!

A very convenient pub half way along Goldington Road neighbouring the University. The food and drinks available are always of the best quality and the staff always a delight to order from and engage with. There is outdoor seating both front and back, with barbecues availible in the back if you choose to book the area. The car park has appropriate spaces if you drive to the White Horse and everytime I have visited here it has been a very enjoyable experience.
In these Civic times, the White Horse has got it taped - literally as social zones are marked out on the floor. Taking contact details of customers is also comforting in case of one having a positive test. Food is traditional pub food, tasty and well prepared. Good value. Service attentive. Good standard of house wine.
Super Sunday roast beef. Followed by, homemade blackberry and apple crumble. Great food and service. Plus felt safe.
