Cosy country pub, friendly staff, beautifully cooked food. Largest Yorkshire pudding I've ever seen! comes with side order of seasonable vegetables. Steaks was cooked as requested, Highly recommended. It was Mother's Day, busy, recommend booking, worth it!
Used the new gazebo to meet some friends last week. The staff were excellent and very accommodating with heaters and blankets to keep us warm. We had a very enjoyable evening. I hope more people will make use of it. Will return again.
Great service. Very helpful staff. Good Sunday roast and the Rum cured salmon is the best starter I’ve had within the realms of Yorkshire that I can remember.
Lovely gastropub in Thornton. Great food with perfect portion sizes. Beautiful views outside mean this is a lovely country pub to visit too. Curried lamb neck fillet was delicious as was the beef and oxtail pie (this was very rich though)! Great range of daily specials too. There is also a great drinks menu from coffee to liquor to wine.
