Lovely. Visited on a cold winter morning to watch the severn bore. Couldn't of been made to feel anymore welcome. Bacon and sausage butty with a hot cuppa to wash it down. Really enjoyed our visit. Thank you to the lovely staff

Went for a breakfast and found the experience adequate. We were greeted at around 8am by a lady who clearly didn't want to meet anyone at 8am. She was polite but not friendly. Our drinks orders came quick enough, but our 6 breakfasts didn't arrive for around 30 minutes. When they did, they were tasty and not too bad on the value side, but they weren't hot. We were the first customers in that day, so I don't know where the delay came from. A second member of serving staff also helped us, who was more friendly. The building itself was very interesting, with old, original features aplenty. Good parking, tasty and value food, shame about the initial impression.
Asked for a nice window table for a special occasion, didn't get one. Think locals are treated very well by staff. Very attentive to them. We were not locals. Food was good, but quite expensive. View is spectacular, which we saw before and after.
On the route of garden cliff footpath and stopped by a pint. Lovely river view patio with lots of seats available. Service was quick. Recommend the ale from Wye Brewery- Butty Bach and HPA. #supportlocalbusiness
