My husband and I were very happy with our take out from Zen Hakka! The man taking our order over the phone was very friendly, the food was made really fast and it was flavorful! They gave us so much that we'll need to eat it for tomorrow's lunch and dinner :-) . This is one of our favorite Asian cuisines in Stouffville for sure.

I wanted to like this place, but the experience was rather disappointing. Ordered 2 lunch specials, and it was covered in 70% rice. I requested the fried egg rice, but the cook was extremely stingy with the egg. It was really just plain rice. There was also very minimal gravy and meat. I guess the cook was being stingy again? The lunch special price was also higher than what I’m used to (compared to Ajax, Whitby, Scarborough) The 2 spring rolls also just came with 1 pack of plum sauce. Place is expensive and stingy. Cashier was nice and enthusiastic though.

Amazing food and great quality. I've ordered soups and main dishes from both the Hakka and Thai menus and it's all been great! Worth the drive and has easily replaced tangerine (which is disgusting in comparison)

Friendly staff & great food. I've ordered takeout from Zen several times, and am always satisfied. It's a great fusion of flavours, and lots of options to keep it interesting. The zen shrimp, zen chicken, crispy ginger beef, hot garlic chicken and tom yam have all been particularly great.
