I started using this opticians when it was Rainers. The staff are attentive and the service is very good. They are happy to chat to you as a person and you feel valued when you shop here. The prices are competitive for goods on offer.

I can't recommend this store highly enough. All staff wore full PPE, every care was taken to minimise risk during Covid 19. Everything was cleaned throughly after each customer. The staff are brilliant, especially Jackie, they were really welcoming and friendly. Lovely place to go for an eye test, wouldn't go anywhere else.

Made an appointment as my close vision is worsening. I was not keen on going with the Covid 19 risks, however, the procedures both beforehand and in the building were excellent. Everything that could be was done over the phone to minimise time inside. The staff all wore full PPE and customers wore masks. All seating and equipment was cleaned prior to and after my use. I required glasses and there was no pressure to try on less frames or choose more quickly. All they asked was that any frames tried were put into a box for full cleaning before the next customer. They have also arranged for my new glasses to be sent straight to my home so I don't need to go back in. I would recommend the Whitby branch of Vision Express for eye examinations and for those needed new glasses.
