This is not a review regarding the quality of the food, but the quality of the customer service. I walked into the establishment for the first time with the impression that I’d have a new business to patronize; however, the older woman working Christmas Eve 2020 around 8:30 a.m. ruined the idea of ever patronizing the business. Her customer service was extremely dismissive and bland despite my effort to make conversation. I literally witnessed her greet every customer not of foreign descent with a smile and warm words. I left the establishment feeling disgusted. I frequent Birmingham Roast and other nearby establishments, and the customer service is always welcoming and warm. With that being said, I am absolutely certain that this experience was and is an isolated experience associated with this particular business.
Great coffee, food, ambiance.
I only stopped for a cup of coffee to wait for a friend, but that's a nice friendly neighborhood place. Look forward to having one of their tasty sandwiches again soon.
