Love the Weatsheaf. Great to spend an afternoon in the beer garden when the sun is out. Cosy and warm in the winter thanks to three roaring fires. Good for a quick pint after work because of the decent sized carpark. Beer and food is always good and the owners and regulars are welcoming.

As a visitor from the US this place is fantastic. Friendly staff and locals, food was delicious, and I'd recommend the mulled wine. 10/10 would recommend. Had a wonderful experience in the pub. Would definitely come back.

The wheatsheaf is a lovely little pub. We called in as driving through the town . It is very quaint little pub. The staff were lovely and helpful very chatty helping us choose our food. Very reasonably priced.The meals were gorgeous and a very big portion I was just gutted I couldn't fit in a pudding but I means i have to return to try them
Held my Mothers wake at the Wheatsheaf. Fantastic service. Lyn put on a brilliant buffet. Would highly recommend.
