Lovely pub grub and great service. It's not flash but it doesn't need or try to be. We love the fresh homecooked food and they welcome kids. What's not to like. Check it out.

Not only the best food we've had on our trip away, some of the best food I have ever had...the setting is cosy and homely and the food is divine for an amazing price aswell, literally perfection. If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would.

A friendly, warm welcome (unless you’re a Scottish or Irish cash payer- they don’t accept bank notes from those UK countries) in this delightfully cosy pub-restaurant with a convivial atmosphere where the locals drink at the bar whilst food is served at packed tables. This might be a little awkward if you have restricted mobility, but otherwise adds to the experience. The menu is quite wide ranging and the food very tasty and very reasonably priced, and although nearly every item seemed to be accompanied by peas, rather than a range of veg, they were very willing to exchange for carrots or a salad when I requested. I would certainly go again.
