Whalebone Inn/Scrimshaw's Restaurant

Sadly had occasion to visit the priemises after a lengthy time away (C-19) to a former colleague's funeral wake. The staff were very attentive, respectful and pleasant. The service was efficient and made the sombre occasion more agreeable. The food & drink was appropriately priced and staff took extra care to attend to any perceived shortages. I look forward to re-visiting the restaurant post pandemic. S.G.

I was very very impressed with the quality of the food here. Came to dine for a friend’s birthday, and as much as the overall look of the pub is a very standard pub look, the food in the restaurant area was exceptional! I had the creamy garlic mushrooms, and the steak. It was very good. The prices are reasonable and the waitress was friendly and helpful.
