If I could give it six I would. Wonderfully decorated, simple menu, crisp service - anyone thinking of running a cafe should visit. In particular, the bacon was cooked perfectly. Rashers right thickness, fat crisped, gorgeous. Cake looked fab - home made see photos.

Great atmosphere, service and of course the food. Dinners are tasty, good and filling, which can be annoying because the cakes are to die for. Very important in this day of covid, the tables and chairs are thoroughly cleaned, and tables and customers are required to keep their distance and masks WILL be worn. There are is also a great variety of nick nacks to be found around the place for sale. Toilets clean and warm. A great place to eat with lots of character.

This store has been on the same site for many years ,Its been a long lime since my last visit , I went looking for a new Gortex jacket , I was disappointed with the selection of jackets on offer as they all seemed to be aimed at the bottom end or mid range market. However there is a massive stock of outdoor equipment and clothing . We picked up some other bits and pieces and the staff were very helpful leading us to the stock because the store has an unusual layout . There is parking out side but its pay and display . We drove to the store and ended up going via some of the back streets , It is shocking to see how run down and dilapidated this area has become ,I didn't feel comfortable leaving our car outside .

Wonderful tea room run by a lovely couple. So welcoming and friendly. We had a great breakfast, cooked to perfection. The cakes looked amazing. The venue is super quaint, in a lovely location. Since lockdown they are now only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Wish we lived locally we would be there every weekend.

Fantastic little tea room. Great selection of cakes, good hot food menu and nice tea served in attractive tea pots and cups. We had a cream tea and flapjack, both were really good. Hosts were friendly and did the most thorough cleaning of everything that I have seen anywhere when each guest left.
