Not good, blatant disregard of social distancing by younger customers despite attempts by staff to ensure rules were adhered to. 10 young men around a table of four places next to me. Won't go there again.

Our first visit on 26th August and very disappointed. The overall restaurant appearance was tatty with broken settees and stained carpets. Our drinks and meal were ordered at the bar and the staff were polite and welcoming. I was advised there was a long wait for food of around half an hour but 50 minutes later I had to chase the food. Our main meal arrived shortly afterwards and before our starter! Amazingly the waiter said they had no clean cutlery but he would return when available. After another 10 minutes and our meals were getting cold I had the return to the bar area to collect cutlery myself. The food itself was poor and the portions small with only ten cold chips with my burger. This type of service and quality of food is not acceptable, wait time was excessive and a restaurant with no clean cutlery is unbelievable. I'm interested to see the restaurants response, if any, to my review.
Top pub with top grub. Good cheap beer and food, staff were excellent, breakfast excellent and I just had to put a pic of the toilet in as they the poshest I have ever seen.
