Quite a good place. The maze is amazing. Lot of outdoor play area. The rules of one family at a time on equipments are not followed to a T. The forest needs an hour to 90 minutes depending on how long kids play. The walk through the illuminations takes 30-45 mins. The toilets near the entrance are very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

We went to see the illumination in the Enchanted forest. It was really good. 15 month old loved it too. Good for pushchairs also. 1.5 hours walk at a slow pace and taking lots of pictures. Wrap up warm. There is a cafe and toilets to use. Recommend.

Visited stockeld Park for the Halloween event, had a lovely walk round the enchanted forest before heading to the maze! Last but not least pumpkin picking! Great day out really enjoyed it!

Great day out for a family with young ones. Plenty to see and do. Take a walk along the Enchanted Forest and look out for all the fantasy characters along the way. Plenty of little play areas, the lake, but not many places for grown ups to sit. Be weather prepared. It's quite muddy and there's no shelter along the walk. However there are toilets and a kiosk for drinks and snacks half way round. By the main entrance there's also a maze, and pre-virus they had an ice rink. On our visit today there was a sign stating they were developing the largest indoor play. They have a large restaurant/cafe with plenty of seating (which was socially distant - just for clarity should anyone be concerned). Plenty of doorstep on site parking including plenty of disability spaces. You need deep pockets for a day out even with only two adults and two children. But my family has visited on many occasions and the children always love it.

Great place to visit with kids who love to be outside. Lots of playgrounds and things to see. Will definitely visit again and next time will make sure we get tickets for the lights too as they look good. Visited with 2 adults and 3 children aged 8, 4 and 2. A lovely day even in the freezing cold
