When I inquired about changing my surround sound speakers and was considering a soundbar I was advised that 'we don't stock soundbars' and when asked why I was told dismissively that 'they're not very good'. Rather challenges why SSV advertise them so heavily on their website and they have huge popularity in the market. I fear I may have spoken to the assistant others refer to as the pretentious and overbearing one. Perhaps you'll be lucky and visit on his day off...

We are on holiday in Wetherby and visited this store today, the young gentleman was so confident and helpful without being over bearing. He spoke very clearly about the products we were interested in and advised the best to buy without being at all pushy It was a pleasure to have him serve us, he told us he was usually in the Manchester store but had come to Wetherby to cover for the day. There was an older lady with him who was just as polite and helpful. Thank you both so much.

I recently visited Sevenoaks Sound and Vision in Wetherby as I wanted to buy a new HiFi.With my limited knowledge and having done a bit of research and a my budget in mind I was looking forward to what I thought would be a pleasurable experience(After all that's what shopping like this is all about). This could not have been further from the truth. For the next 15 mins I was subjected to a level of poor customer service that bordered on bullying.Never in all my life have I ever come across such poor treatment.He was condescending rude disrespectful and overbearing. I am left today shaking my head in disbelief that I stood and took this level of abuse.I have had to wait 24 hours before writing this review to enable me to calm down. Shame on you Sevenoaks Wetherby for treating not only a potential customer but another human being in this way it was absolutely disgraceful. After I put in my review I was contacted by Sevenoaks head office,first by email and then by phone.The level of service I received from them was absolutely FANTASTIC.They listened to my concerns and they were very open and honest with me in their answers.I went on to buy what I originally intended to buy and received good sound advise from their sales rep.Thank you I will definitely use Sevenoaks if not the Wetherby store in the future.

I have been using Richard and the team now for over 20 years now and always get excellent service and advice. They will generally be able to match any prices, and only sell decent quality equipment. They don't try and con you with useless warranties or interest \free\ deals. Highly recommended.

Brilliant advice, price and service from the Wetherby branch. Bought 4 TV's and a sound system for work and would have made plenty of mistakes without Richard the owners advice. 6 house points. Well done.
