Service is outstanding, always help me find the best dress

Today my husband and I visited Yde pavilion . Walked in and chose my garments. When we wanted to pay for them , one of the garments apparently had the wrong tag. At first the cashier brought in one of the very same looking garments of which had the same price and the other had a different price. She then proceeded to explain that they have a spate of customers who change price TAGS ! They also have customers coming in and "making up" their prices of the garments. To me now , I just chose my outfits and wanted to pay and leave. Then she called the manager who explained the same thing. Then an area manager name Sadia was contacted and she explained the very same thing but going one step further stated I couldn't purchase my outfit. She Stated she would only be on shift the next day and then she could verify and investigate and she is not promising myself that I would eventually get my outfit. This was an absolutely embarrassing experience. Imagine choosing your garment ,then going to pay for it and they state that customers change the price TAGS. I felt as if she implied I had done so. I requested that they check their cameras and also see if tags had been tampered with. Even check my handbag to see if I had any device of some tag replacement. I am really perturbed that about this entire episode. Eventually went to Old Khaki and Forever New of which we actually managed to pay for our clothing. Is this really how shopping suppose to be? If you are encountering serious internal issues , don't you think that you should be more strategic in ensuring that you counteract this concern rather than making a customer feel so terrible and walk out of your shop (empty handed) ? Highly perturbed about this embarrassing ordeal.
