I got the whole fish from here and WOW was I impressed! The staff here is excellent and remembers you if you tip well. The food is all well made, and the restaurant is usually pretty packed. Good selection of drinks as well as appetizers.
Used to go here years ago. Recently started doing take out from them. Good stuff. Never disappointed with food quality or take-out food being ready on time. Update: Have to reduce one star, to four stars. I am hoping that I can move back to five stars. I was told 30-40 minutes for take out. It ended up taking 70 minutes. That is far from 30-40 minutes, especially having to wait inside with a ton of others waiting, during a pandemic. I think I did hear them starting to people calling in that it would be 1 h 30 mins for sushi and then they stopped taking orders. I am happy that they are so busy given dining out has plummeted. I hope they find a way to prevent this from happening again. We have been extremely pleased to-date so if this is a one-off, I will put my review back to five stars after giving them another chance.
I want to be fair with my rating. The food is fresh but a tab bit too sweet for my taste. Of you're in the mood for great quality comfort food, this is your place.
