We have recently become the proud carers of 2 Romanian rescue puppies and had bought most of their items from a Major petstore chain, we had bits left to get and someone suggested Petmania. what a find, the small family run business had everything we needed to finish off our shopping list and they offered a harness fitting service, we arrived a little late because the puppers had different plans to us, we wanted to go harness fitting and they wanted to chew everything we have ever or will ever own. Once inside they were given the staff members full attention, several harnesses were bought in to see which fitted properly and we went with the shops recommendation it wasn't the most expensive as they said if they chew through it you don't want to be spending a small fortune on a second set of harnesses, with the harnesses fitted we went to pay, the whole process had taken a good 30 minutes of which half that time was the staff fussing the pups and giving them treats. The harnesses came in a variety of colours all but one was in stock, they look fab on their new harnesses and we are happy to be supporting a local buisiness.

Very disappointed by the owners attitude. Popped in to get some puppy pads and also some food for my puppy. When i enquired about the cost of puppy pads I was advised that they are 15.99 for 50 pads. I explained that Sainsbury’s were selling 100 for 13 where I was told to go to Sainsbury’s then. I thought the owner may of been having a bad day so thought I would buy some food for my puppy when I was told by the owner that I may as well get that at Sainsbury’s as well when I get my puppy pads. Now, I try to support local businesses but they also need to be competitive. The owner tried to say that their puppy pads were absorbent but Sainsbury’s are also absorbent. Your puppy pads were over double the price of Sainsbury’s and your attitude was shocking. I have to say you have lost my custom and I will also spread the word to “Use Sainsbury’s” to all my puppy owner friends.
