Just perfect! Beautiful little tea room. Amazing range of cakes available, so hard to choose as they all looked so delicious. Lovely decor and very quaint. Quick, friendly service and great attention to detail with everything, even the little dusting of icing sugar on top of the scone didn't go unnoticed. Can't wait to return and try some other cakes.

Lovely quite pretty surroundings. The service is very quick. The tea is real, no bags, and is flavoursome, as is the delicious homemade cakes. The only fault was that there is no handle bar for the disabled in the otherwise perfectly clean toilet. Definitely worth a visit if you are in this picturesque area.
Outstanding service by kind man (owner?) & young woman assistant. Exceptional granary bread and coleslaw for their Ploughmans. Splendid choice of seven cakes incl spiced apple. VG value for money. Truly lovely setting - quintessential picturesque village hall, green, cottages, etc. Covid-mindful but totally not officious. We didnt stay for cream tea but they looked scrumptious. No adaptations for disabled but they went out of their way to help as fully as they could on the day. No wifi. Be aware of their early closing time - last orders 4.30.
I wanted to get away from London for a bit on the bank holiday weekend for some scones and this place doesn't disappoint. Found by chance on Google Maps and just out of London in a quiet area just off the A road. It's a must!
Lovely traditional tea room situated right on the village green. They serve a fab afternoon tea (ring 24 hrs in advance to book afternoon tea) the owners were so nice & service was really good. Great experience
