Staff were friendly and welcoming. Fish and chips was not bad, nice batter. The portion size was enough for one, however I'm used to having huge portions where I'm not able to finish all the chips. This was just the right amount.

Excellent batter, the key ingredient of good fish and chips. Fish very good, chips a bit soft for my taste, but most people seem to prefer them that way.
We like to try local fish and chips when in a new area and give a fair and honest review and I can honestly say the fish and chips from West End Fish Bar is top notch, I don't agree with any of the bad reviews for this place in the slightest. The portions are HUGE and really tasty. Thank you.

VERY greasy. Had Fish bites and chips, fish bites were on the bottom which saved a few of the chips but the grease was unreal-fish bites were old and rubbery. Gravy and Curry were nice though.
