I had the take away Sunday lunch .It was absolutely fantastic ! Such a treat . It was a delicious perfectly cooked generous plate of food.I had the beef which was perfect and came with a great selection of lovely sides of roasted potatoes,parsnip,carrots ,soft sweet onion and red cabbage .oh and the Yorkshire pudding that should have a special mention. The portion of cauliflower cheese felt like an added bonus and in truth meal in itself .It all came with gravy and horse radish sauce . I recommend anyone to take advantage of this lockdown treat and at 12 an absolute bargain with washing up.

A cosy and classic pub. Very large inside and plenty of seating outside. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Good social distancing measures in place. Very clean and tidy. Tables well spaced out. A quiet pub, which is nice to have a quiet chat, with not having to struggle to talk over loud music. Decor inside is nice. Will definitely visit again.
Went to this pub by chance as we were visiting our son in Bristol and we wanted something to keep us going for the day and what a great chance we got. Simple dishes but made extraordinary! Burger and chips for me and fish and chips for my wife. Fantastic flavours and the food looked and tasted amazing!!! Shame we did not have enough time to stay for dessert as I am sure it would have been equally good. Door person/supervisor? Was very courteous and the staff was attentive. All in all a lovely meal and above our expectations for a pub. Definitely worth visiting again another time when we actually have more time to enjoy it.
Decent for a local pub. Food menu doesn't provide the variety I would like but I don't know if that's because of covid times or that's normal. However food quality is decent. Staff are friendly and it's a nice place to spend time after work
Was looking forward somewhere for a coffee and spotted people sitting outside this pub. So sat outside and had a couple of very good Flat Whites. Easy to order and pay for. Nice toilets. Friendly staff.
