This is a beautiful place, any time of year. I go with my dog, and can walk for hours. It's got a good size car park, and a few picnic tables.

Loved the woods. Not many people. Great place to walk and I loved the trees. Found some wild strawberries too.
At this time of year late April all the blue bells are in flower it is a lovely forest to walk around but be careful it is quite big and you could easily get lost,we saw a deer also a badger set,Primroses and wood anemone the celandine were going over but noticed a white bell amongst the blues,Well worth the walk.
Stunning when the bluebells are out. Well worth a visit. The trials aren't marked so it's easy to get lost! What a place to get lost though
Apparently, the largest Sarsen stones of Stonehenge came from around here. I haven't seen any signs of a quarry.... yet! A very pretty wood.
