First time using this fish&chip shop after it was recommended to us. 7 meals all cooked fresh and very reasonably priced. Definitely going back

Huge portions as always. Just wondering if the batter has been change. Seems a bit soft on my fish. A bit more friendlier customer service might go down well too.
I bought a simple cheese burger & chips and a fishcake & chips. Both lots of Chips were very good with not a lot of bits and extremely hot and fresh. The fishcake was lovely and hot and extremely tasty. The Burger I saved to eat at home and that was still hot when 30 minutes I arrived home. Well done West Way fisheries and your Social Distancing rules are very very good. It's not often I can say this about other chip shops that I've visited but this is the best chip shop I've visited in a very long time,, and others could learn from West way fisheries Thankyou again
As always fantastic food, well set up for the conditions we are in.
Such a shame, lovely staff, quick service.. but I have never thrown an entire meal in the bin before tonight. Fish clearly not fresh, tasted like fish finger mush in a burnt batter 'bag', chips were hard. Don't know how you get Fish and Chips so wrong.
