Beautiful gardens, with a lovely stream/River running through. And also access to the downs which looks like a lovely walk. A nice easy amble through the gardens and green houses. i haven't been round the house but that looks lovely too. Cafe is expensive but no more so than any other in a place like this x

Stunning gardens, plants and cake! Lovely walk around the enclosed gardens, orchards and open gardens. A very pleasant way to spend 3 or 4 hours wandering around beautiful land and gardens with the added bonus of a nice cafe as well. Social distancing well practiced

A lovely place to go for a half day out. Plenty of mobile toilets spread throughout. Tucked away in the countryside. There is a small portable cafe with various benches and picnic areas. Great for forest bathing. Would recommend to anyone, whether alone or in a group. Will be visiting again soon.

Visited here yesterday, what a beautiful place, really enjoyed the gorgeous scenery and the gardens are wonderful. Had a snack in the cafe and it was delicious, good value and lovely and clean. Well worth a visit.

Cal Mountain

Spacious grounds, sheltered walled gardens and leg stretching walk around the arbouretum. Able to take dog in all areas. Cafe food very tasty but exceedingly long wait Monday 1pm mid October after food order taken.
