Its Christmas eve, and I had the worst ear infection ever. Thankfully the VA at Riviera is always open. I braced myself for many hours to be spent waiting to be seen as with every ER visit I've had at every hospital in my life. To my surprise I was checked in, seen by a wonderful doctor, got my prescriptions and was out the door in just over one hour! Unbelievable, especially since staff was limited due to the holiday. Everyone, and I mean everyone was so curious and kind to me, thanking me for my service as I thanked them for working the holiday. I spent 24 years serving, and to day, I felt very special due to the staff and care I received. Good gob Riviera VA! And merry Christmas!

appointments canceled without notification/the day before, marked as no show for a telehealth appointment that I was never contacted for, operators constantly throw you back in to the main phone queue instead of transferring you where you need to go, then did that repeatedly until everything was finally closed, mental health clinic won't listen to you or even tell you what disorder they claim you have until you're already completely zombied out on the exact opposite medication that you should have(helps them clear out the wait list I'm sure - and who would listen to a previous doctor when they said something the exact opposite? Not the VA!). physical therapy has been great, though. That's why it's 2 instead of 1

SHE WAS COURTEOUS, SPOKE CLEARLY, VERIFIED DATA, WAS PATIENT, ASSURED ME THAT I WILL BE CONTACTED SHORTLY RELATIVE TO OBTAINING AN APPOINTMENT. It was a great experience. We went without an appointment. We thought it would be difficult, it was not. The staff were polite and informative. From start to finish it took us about 1 hour and we got our shot.
