Good for kids
It's always been in my family until my Aunt Susan died and my grandpa sold it back to the state and ever since the gate was put up. We was supposed to have full life time access so we can lonch our boats and camp it was in the contract. But we never got a key to the gate. It is a great place to fish swim hunt camp but to many boaters are lettering trash in the water no respect.

Its a swamp. One nice trail that leads you to more swamp.
Beautiful scenery cold as the dickens tho in the evening.
There's deer in there but not that I saw. I did see a lot of waterfowl and other wildlife which is very beautiful. But I was trying to see or find a northern whitetail so I can look at it to see how much bigger they are. I hear they're huge compared to southern deer
They should open up the road to drive down to the water. Also a ton of bugs as soon as you get out of the car. Other then that it's a really pretty walk.
