The gym it’s self isn’t so bad I actually enjoyed it but sometimes there was a front desk girl that I don’t think worked the morning shift but was sometimes there and maybe don’t put morning people in early morning shifts because her face said it all. But I’m not upset about that I’m really more upset at how customer service is like why is it even called customer service? They refused to refund me any money to my account I basically paid for another year price lock when the member ship isn’t being used there are other companies that are willing to help specially during holidays but VASA YOU ARE THE WORST AND all they do is take your money that’s all they care about

I don’t know what the point is in paying 80 dollars every two weeks for personal training if they’re gonna keep the training area where the tools to do my homework exercises are!

The gym is alright, but Sheri at the front desk makes it 10x better. She is always welcoming and is very kind to members as they enter and exit the gym. We need more people with customer service skills like her!

I had a great experience today when I checked out Vasa. I've been a member for years but since extended family health issues, new baby and crazy pandemic stuff its been hard to get to the gym. Today U was greated by a bubble woman named Linda who took me on a tour and shared info about free fit session with a personal trainer. Which peaked my interest to checking out on my future visit. Linda is very knockout the gym and I look forward to working with her again to set up a fit session as soon as kid are is open so I know my baby is well cared for and Safe!

Despite being a large facility, it's difficult to find available or working equipment. Staff: The front desk staff are friendly are helpful when called upon. Though they are rarely needed, someone can always be found at the front desk. Wi-Fi: The internet service is free, but unreliable; even during slower business hours, the connection is poor and unsuitable for streaming YouTube, Netflix, and even Spotify. Do all your research beforehand and download your videos at home because it's likely that you won't even be able to load a Google search using the free Wi-Fi. Equipment: There is a vast assortment of machines for weight training and cardio, but there is only a small amount of free weights available (3-4 pairs of each weight increment). The small quantity of weights and the high frequency of broken machines means that you'll have a hard time trying to find what you're looking for to complete your workout. People: There's a really diverse crowd that goes to this location; from the most out of shape individual whose trying to improve their health to the most jacked of Hugh Jackman-esque people, there's a bit of everyone here. So you don't need to worry about fitting in or standing out if you're uncomfortable exercising in public settings. Summary: The inability to complete your workout while on site is counterintuitive to paying for a gym membership. Hopefully the Vasa location nearest to you is better than the one I've described here here. If not, you're better off looking for another gym, even if it costs more; it's not worth spending your money on something if you can't even use it.

The staff on the early morning shifts at front desk are absolutely horrible, bad customer service and just no customer relations skills. I felt so unwelcome and didn’t receive any useful information. I came in twice to ask about membership as I was so keen to join such an incredible facility and the lady I spoke to told me “to look online” and then continued to look at her computer. I looked online but still had a few questions. The second day I came in again to train, I asked again just general questions, I was handed an iPad to look at and he said the iPad will tell you!! Like I know we’re in a pandemic but come on man it’s not hard to treat people who are new to your facility with a welcoming attitude or even a smile. I have worked at big gym facility for 6 years, that’s 24hrs so I know it gets overwhelming but regardless of how you feel, back your energy to suit the image of your gym, fake a smile for crying out loud! People feel welcomed, they feel excited to wake up early for training when they’re greeted by staff members that actually love their jobs. I love the setting of your facility and I love the energy the members set but the staff need better training on front desk manner.

Pros: I love the classes at this location, never too crowded and the instructors are great. In comparison to Riverton/Sandy locations where the HIGH classes are always packed this is a nice hidden gem if you’re looking for the same caliber of classes without the crowd. I also like the diversity of people at this gym. I feel welcome and anyone of any fitness level is welcomed. Cons: This gym needs better equipment. The free weights are never available. The most used weights such as 10lbs and 15lbs are in such limited quantity you can never find them. This has been ever since I started going here, almost 2 years ago. Also, the hand sanitizer has been taken away at the self cleaning stations, and is now available for purchase for 2 a bottle at the front desk. (The hand sanitizer when you leave is still available, at least). Also I don’t see staff cleaning machines anymore like i did in summer and fall of last year.

Love the gym, love the hours, staff is great, best part is/was KIDCARE! Without that maybe 3 stars.. Kidcare was the selling point for me several years ago. I’d love to have it open again To have a better workout without rushing back to get babies from a sitter! I know they’re in great hands, right there with me! Kidcare staff was amazing! I need that back in my life, time to reopen!
