Great spot for a family outing or low-demand day hike. Steppingstone Falls (shown in picture) is a popular destination. You can hike in via several trails of differing lengths, or drive in, if you have a car with reasonable ground clearance, like a small SUV. (You don't need a true off-road vehicle.) Trail maps available online provide pretty good guidance, including trail conditions and changes in elevation. We, and other hikers we ran into, did find that some of the guidance was either out-of-date, erroneous, or otherwise confusing. However, the major trails include painted blazes on trees to follow, and are used enough to be pretty easy to follow.. There's also decent GPS and data coverage, and enough crossing trails that you aren't likely to get lost.
