Service runs generally on time. As a single parent on the child escort service, I feel that as we are returning on the next available boat, the ticket should allow those designated fares to get straight back on the boat without the anxiety and possibility of joining the back of the queue and risking not being able to have a seat on the next sailing. Often parents are parked outside of the terminal and during busy periods with limited seating, I feel the fare should put those involved straight back on the next boat. The possible scenario that children and parents are stuck in the terminal for a minimum of an hour is incredibly stressful. The vast majority of staff are very considerate towards these families but there if no definitive procedure in place currently.

As an islander this is one of the fastest ways ( not the fastest) of getting off the island, with a regular service from Cowes to Southampton return! Comfortable and on time! Used this today for a meeting in Eastleigh and returned back to the island prompt! Great.
Runs efficiently and announcements about distancing and mask wearing were clear. Everyone seemed to adhere to the rules, which was reassuring as I've been on other ferries where people seemed to think that their masks could be taken off when seated and nothing was done by staff.

Red jet runs a pretty good service. But due to covid it's only every 1.5hrs it would be very helpful to run an hourly service especially when red funnel are having a bad time which seems to be more frequent these days. When the service gets back to normal it's normally reliable
